Mys Tyler exists to make fashion more accessible and joyous for all women and every body. We seek to achieve this by connecting women with similar bodies through our app, and empowering them to share their wins, and inspire each other.
Reporting to the CEO, you will develop and execute our Public Relations strategy ahead of our app launch in August. You will need to be able to think strategically, be hands on and take ownership of our communications objectives.
What you'll do
You will develop and execute upon our PR launch strategy
You will develop a high level 12 months communication and PR strategy
You will collaborate with our CEO, Marketing Manager and Design intern to refine our brand, voice and market positioning
You will present on growth hacks leveraging creative / out of the box ideas to attract positive attention, and build our brand awareness
You will build and present weekly/monthly updates
Who you are
You have 5+ years in public relations or internal communications (managing PR), with at least 12 months within fashion
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create stories that will appeal to, motivate and captivate our audiences
You are a master networker, who naturally develops and maintains solid relationships with those you interact with
You are in touch with the fashion industry, stay up to date with trends, happenings with an ability to convert these into an understanding of the changing interests and motivations driving the industry
You are a creative thinker, who is able to think out of the box
You are able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and adapt quickly to changing needs and priorities
You are motivated to work in a startup environment and have exposure across the business, beyond your key responsibilities
You are fluent in written and spoken English
You have advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint skills
Mys Tyler is a VC-backed Sydney startup, with a mission to make fashion more accessible and enjoyable for all women, and every body. Through our mobile app we connect women who share similar physical attributes, so that fashion content served up, is not just inspirational but also accessible and actionable. We are building and preparing for a global launch in August of this year, and are beginning to build our exceptional team to help us take this vision to women all over the world.
