Building a startup during a global pandemic has had its challenges. It has been a tough year for everyone, and tougher (an understatement) for some.
Mys Tyler is fortunate to be based in Sydney, where our lockdown was relatively short. People are returning to offices, and IRL meetings and events are starting again. After months of Zoom calls, Google Meets and phone calls, we (@larissa.andrianakos and @sezzyneill) were so excited to get out of the office and meet some real people.
We started our adventure at Haymarket HQ - a co-working space in Sydney’s Chinatown, who have created a community around supporting startups - we chatted to Isabelle and Isabella from @haymarkethq.
Then we popped over to @ourhouse.showroom (no, we don’t live together), which is a Showroom, event space and many other things - it’s also the base for the founders Mel (@melissaheneghan) and Raquel (@raaaquelbouris) who also offer a whole array of marketing consulting (scoping out possible launch event venues!!)
